Does child take mother’s brain?

I have seen my elder sister, who forgets to keep control on her behavior after giving birth of a baby boy. She even can’t think properly. I was thinking does woman lose their brain after giving birth? Now I found myself in that condition. My work speed gets slow. I can’t concentrate on work properly.
