Fast food

Me at Al Baik (in previous decoration) at Dhanmondi, Bangladesh

I like fast food. Well you can understand by looking at me also. I am over weighted. I started taking fast food when I was doing job. And then my weight start increasing rapidly. Now I take fast food in decent order, but body didn't recover.

Price different in different shopping places

Shafeen at Bashundhara city shopping complex

In our country (Bangladesh) main shopping malls are Agora, PQS, Almas, Nandan, Shapno. There is big price difference between each shopping mall. In some places some products are good. Agora has the most different things in there shopping center and takes most high price. Why? This company has other big brand products, so having great success in profit, why they need to make their product in too high price. Almas is well known for cosmetics products. I like Nandan, because they took fewer prices than others and have good manners and good customer caring, means only they and sometimes pqs people help to carry sold products to the transport to their clients destination. Shapno has most centers, but you will find dust on many products and they have fewer varieties of products. And the products are good.

Cooked two foreign foods

Today I cooked two food items. One is Chinese fried rice and another one is Malaysian vegetables. I found fried rice is one item that you can say totally balanced food. It has rice, oil (carbohydrate), carrot, onion, ginger, coriander, black pepper (vitamins), meat, egg (protein, calcium), salt (minerals) etc. It takes time to prepare all items, and cooking takes only few minutes.
Malaysian vegetable I made for breakfast, but it took long time that I had to eat it at noon. It has nuts, ginger, onion, cabbage, dry chili, coconut milk, oil, salt (carbohydrate, protein, vitamins, minerals etc).
So both I must say well for health for my child. Though he eat little amount of them (modern child, don't want to get extra fat in his body), I guess soon he will learn to eat as much as his body needs.

Brick game

I like brick games. When I was a student I use to play a lot. But my older sister was number one to play all kinds of brick games and then my younger sis Sonia.

On my older sister's son's (Tameem) birthday his uncle gave him a brick game. He liked it and sometimes both he and his mom plays on it. My son Shafeen (2 years old) liked that machine too. He can't play but he knows if he presses buttons it plays music! So, two cousins fight on the game machine. My dad (Shafeen's grandpa) gave Shafeen a brick game too to stop two brothers fighting.

Now Shafeen plays with his own brick game at home and but when he goes to his grandpa's house, he plays Tameem's one too. Tameem couldn't find any way to stop him, though he is always afraid that Shafeen will break his one.

Kitchen were in fire

For few days I am having bad dreams, not only nights, at day if I fall asleep bad dreams are coming. In real life some accidents are also happening. Today we got save by the blessings of Allah. Otherwise we might got burn in fire.

In the morning I smell something is burning. I tried to find out from where then I guessed it was from my IPS. Now what can I do for it. In the mean time my elder sister's son Tameem also told her mom that something is burning. And again she thought it was from her IPS, so the close that.

After some period I went to the kitchen and found the kitchen towel was burning and by that time it turned into ashes. Fire was on coz I gave water to boil and water was still boiling. Somehow that fire didn't spread out to others cloths or burn materials. The burning smell were coming to my room from front door, IPS stands right beside that.

Small mistake made total dish bad

I wanted to make "Ponir Polao". So, I blend half cup of cardamom and cloves in my "Magic blender". From out side of the pot it looked totally crushed so I stopped and then mix it with rice. But actually it wasn't crushed properly and my total dish off. Now the way people removes tiny stones from rice, I had to remove cardamom or cloves.

Benchmark lending

Recently get know about Benchmark lending. So I like to share with you.

The benchmark prime lending rate is usually applied to commercial lending. It means that the prime interest rate is the starting point, or benchmark, for interest rates charged to borrowers for many loan products, depending upon the borrower's creditworthiness. The benchmark interest rate is also used by investors and is often confused with the benchmark prime lending rate. This is the minimum interest rate investors will accept for non-Treasury investments.

Shafeen signed

In this electronic era people do very less use of pen. So do I. The only paper work I do with pen is signing up. My son noticed that. Now if he got pen or color pencil, he does sign on paper. Today he did this not only on papers but on table, bus (toy) etc.

If you love you won't hesitate

I believe if you love a person you can't hesitate to work anything for them. Doctors or nurses who love their patient can clean easily any of their dirt. A mother loves their child, they always cleans their child. Loves makes people caring and make them do all works for their beloved person. It should happen, otherwise who will?

Fridays at Gulshan

After my interview at somewhere in... we went out and start searching a place where we can eat some food. We start walking toward Gulshan 1 circle from road 24. And the first food place we found was Fridays. It was looking great from out side and when we get inside we also saw nice decoration. We ordered food, those were in reasonable price and good in taste.
After joining somewhere in... , several times we went to that restaurant.  Like when my friend Tuheen came to my office for interview, I recommended her, I took her to Fridays for small treat. When I get engaged I gave a treat to my colleagues at Fridays. Above picture provably from that day.
Last time when I eat food over there I found that were not fresh and I got sick. From then I didn't went there anymore. But I have lots of sweet memory over there.

After my son's birth I can't remember a day when I took rest. Day before yesterday was my son's birthday. I worked hard and tried my best to make a wonderful day for my son. I succeed. Then yesterday I took my holiday, after a long time. The only work I did is cooking food for my son. I slept as much as I can and with me my son also slept a lot. Good, other wise I couldn't sleep.

Run away if knows some work had to be done.

Happy birthday my son

This picture has been taken at his first birthday. From left it's me, Shafeen and my mom.

Today is your 2nd birthday. I am trying my best make it more enjoyable for you. Happy birthday my son.

Never expect anything from anyone

"Never expect anything from anyone" I have heard this quote in TV in Simi agarwal's TV show. I don't know that lady but when I first heard I didn't agree. I thought why not? I have right to expect from others and get it. If they don't give me my right then it's their fault.

But time teaches many things. There are many things happens in this world which you can never expect. People hurts you too much without any reason. Then if you expect anything from anyone, which you deserve and that person didn't care to give you, it will hurt more. So you better don't expect anything from anyone. Specially from them who lives near to your heart. That will hurt more.

Did you see any smooth road in Dhaka?

We, the inhabitant of Dhaka, Bangladesh forgot or never seen what is smooth road. In ancient time we use to use cow pulled or horse pulled transport over mud or field. You can imagine how smooth those roads were. May be that became our tradition. Now people even don't expect a good road anywhere. The only time they can realize how poor the roads are when they became sick or pregnant. Big jerking reminds them how our roads are.

When I was pregnant, I couldn't think to go outside only because of the roads. But to go to doctor and for other necessary things I had to. Those were terrible experience. My father is a patient of kidney problem. Even he is suffering from the roads. Generally he doesn't take rickshaw for this problem; he tries to take CNG auto rickshaw where sits are better to resolve jerking problems.

Tameem, Shafeen and their uncle Sifat

Sifat and Shafeen
Sifat and Tameem

Tameem (My elder sister's son) and Shafeen (my son) both like very much their one and only uncle Sifat. Who is living in South Africa now. Tameem is now 9 years old. He can communicate with his uncle easily over phone. But Shafeen is only 1 year and 11 months old. He ( Shafeen ) loved his uncle very much. When his (Shafeen's) uncle was available, if Shafeen saw him, start shouting "Mama!" (uncle). And his uncle had to take him on his lap. Shafeen started calling his uncle before he started calling me (mother). And still Shafeen recognize his uncle through picture. Above picture is one of those.

Shafeen's birthday gift

Shafeen's birthday came very near, December 08. His dad brought him a toy, a red car. The car is the favorite thing is this world to my son. Whenever he goes out the only thing he looks out is the car. So he became very happy. Who ever comes he (my son) shows it's horns. How many music does it has. But still didn't like to ride.
