Getting flavors of food

Dry fish market

There is a saying in Bangla, “Gondhe Ordho bhojon “. If I try to translate it can say, “Flavors fulfill half meal”. In some cases I agree. Today is Friday, our (in Bangladesh) weekend. So in most houses people are cooking something especial. You know, how crowded city Dhaka is. Buildings are standing so near to each other that everyone can hear others voice (if loud) and take flavors of cooking.

From morning I am getting several kinds of flavors of food in our house. First, dry fish curry (Allah help me), then daal (lentil) and other curry. I should feel my stomach is half full. Nope, I am getting hungrier. I guess I can never be slim L
