Champa is a Bangla name of a flower (Plumeria or Frangipani). Today I will tell you about someone whose name was Champa. We met at my math coaching centre. She used to live in my neighbourhood and study in a different school. I have visited her house several times.
Maybe I wanted to go to the coaching with her, that's why I used to go to our house, then go to the math tutor's house with her. One day, I was waiting for her in the living room. I heard someone was singing very well inside the home. I asked who was singing? She replied to me, her mom. I told her she is an excellent singer. I couldn't say, why don't you learn singing from her? That wouldn't be an appropriate opinion.
One day I visited on a special Puja (Hindu prayer) day. Her parent brought a plate with different kinds of fruits. They said they had more varieties of fruits, but those are already finished. I remember they had star fruit in it, but I forgot about the others.
We used to go to our tutor's house through a very narrow (only one person can walk at a time), long road (in Bangla "goli"). We named it "Bhuter Goli"/Ghost road. Because it has turned so many that you can't see who is in front of you or following you, but you will hear the footsteps.
In our coaching sessions, we didn't talk much, but on our way, we would often discuss various topics. She is a very good person. I didn't have any communication with her after the completion of my coaching. That wasn't the cell phone era.
