Biography 151: Type Writer

When I passed the HSC exam (Grade 12), the computer concept came into our world. I didn't come from a wealthy family, so I couldn't ask my dad to buy me a computer (I never asked him to give me anything, that's why my parent always gave me the least). But in my mind, I knew someday I would learn to operate a computer.

In those days, an Electric typewriter was available in offices. So, according to my budget, I decided to learn to typewrite. It would be helpful to work on the computer. I still believe it helped. If you can make some time, I suggest learning to typewrite online. It is beneficial for anyone. But not a necessary tool.

In BailyRoad, ShantiNagar, Dhaka, Bangladesh, there was an organization called "Dhaka business women's club." They used to provide different kinds of training. I got admitted to the "Type Writing" course. It was a 3 months course, and I completed it successfully.

Later, when I started working with the keyboard, my colleagues used to be surprised and said, "You are not looking at your keyboard while typing! you are a blind keyboard user!"

A beautiful song (Hindi)

🎧 Song Credits:

Song: Daawat-e-Ishq

Singers: Javed Ali, Sunidhi Chauhan

Music: Sajid-Wajid

Lyrics: Kausar Munir

Movie: Daawat-e-Ishq

Lyrics [English translation has given below]:

Ho.. chaand chaahun, na chakora

Na falak ka.. tukda tukda tukda

Noor chaahun, na main hoori

Na pari sa.. mukhda mukhda mukhda

Sang sang chal de

Sang sang chakh le

Meetha meetha har sukh har dukhda

Use khwabon se jagaaun

Use baahon mein sulaaun

Sar-aankhon pe bithaun

Usey haathon se khilaaun, ta-umar

I want neither the moon nor the partridge (that wants the moon),

nor a piece of the sky..

I want neither divine light nor a virgin of paradise,

nor a face like a fairy..

Walk with me,

taste with me,

Every sweet joy and sorrow..

Let me wake her up with dreams,

let me make her sleep in my arms..

pamper her as best as I can,

I'd feed her with my own hands all my life..

dil ne dastarkhwan[meaning] bichhaaya,

daawat-e-ishq hai

hai qubool to aaja jaana

daawat-e-ishq hai, ishq hai.

The heart spread a dining spread,

it's the feast of love [or invitation of love]

if you accept it, come, O beloved,

it's the feast of love..

Baadalon ko chun ke, bun ke

Kaaleen banaaya hai tere liye

Taaron ko tod kar ke,

tashtari mein sajaya hai tere liye

Having plucked clouds and weaved them,

I've made the carpet for you..

Plucking the stars,

I've put them on the plate for you..

Chaand taaron ko kyun sataya

Tilmilaya hai mere liye

Jaaun jidhar bhi khil khil udhar hi

Dhoop nikalti hai mere liye

Why have you troubled, angered

moon and stars for me..

Wherever I go, the sun just shines bright for me..

Haay baatein teri chaashni si meethi meethi

Aaye haaye.. baatein hi adaawatein bhi meethi meethi

Oh, your talks are sweet, like sugar syrup,

Oh, not just words; even my enmity is sweet..

Tu aaye to pheeki se mehfil mein meri lazzatein laut aaye

Hasrat-e-lazzat jo hai teri daawat to bolo bhala kaun aaye

Arey keh de tu jo,

saari deghon ko aag doon dil ki jo dum bhi main de doon apna

If you come to my tasteless party, tastes will come back..

If your party is a wish of taste, who'd come there..

[as in, your party wouldn't be full of taste, so who'd come here.]

Hey, if you say,

I will give the fire of my heart to all the pots and give my breath.

[degh = pot/vessel for cooking]

Dil ne dastarkhaan bichaya

Dawat-e-Ishq hai

Hai qubool to aaja jaana

Daawat-e-Ishq hai

Haan sharbat mein ghuli mohabbat

Daawat-e-Ishq hai

Tauba tauba buri milawat

Daawat-e-Ishq hai

Arey kismat se milti hai shirqat

Daawat-e-Ishq hai

Aji be-fizool ki kis ko fursat

Daawat-e-Ishq hai

Love dissolved in a drink,

it's a feast of love.

Mixing is bad; it's a feast of love.

You get to join it with luck; it's a love feast.

Oh, who has free time for this (useless thing)? It's a feast of love.

Tunak nahi zara chakh to le

Bhadak nahi zara dum to le

Jud jaane de zara taar se taar ko

Zara soch samajh ik baar to

Naa soch ke, na hosh se

Tujhe mehmaan banaya haan hum ne dil se

Don't be angry. At least taste it.

Don't be a fire, first take a breath.

First, let our wires be connected.

Just think, and understand once.

Neither with thought nor by consciousness,

I've made you my guest by my heart.

Hai qubool ye hum ne maana

Daawat-e-Ishq hai

Jee huzoor humein manzoor ye

Daawat-e-ishq hai, Ishq hai

I accept. I agree

it's a feast of love.

Sir, I accept this

feast of love, the feast of love

Inflation

[I am sure you all won't agree with me, it's just my thoughts]

If corruption is there, then I can't expect anything. I can only hope it won't continue generation after generation. However, if the government has the slightest chance to work for the people, I will say it should have control over product pricing. People can't just increase prices as much as they want and keep making trillions of benefits.

One job should be enough for a person to live. People should not consider how they will pay for the rent or food. They should have basic expenses in their bank account if they have a job.

When a person works for more than one job, it harms their body and mind fitness and the work quality in the workplace. To have a better performance in a job, employers should think about it.

Biography 150: To complete studying on time.

When I was a kid, I always had to attend 7/8 classes per day in school. All most all courses are used to give us homework or to do some study (memorizing). No matter how hard I tried (which I did 4/5 days in my whole school life), I couldn't finish more than one homework in a day. Because, whatever I do, I do it well. So, I gave lots of time and concentration on one subject and could never find time to complete other homework. (And maybe I am too slow also, now a day became slowest). And I had plenty of work to do daily, including playing with toys.

Now you will ask me, then how did I manage in school. The answer is that I am always very attentive in class. So, when teachers teach us in class, I try my best to understand it. So, in exams, I mostly wrote from my understanding.

And I was a fortunate girl too. (Only Bangladeshi people will understand this) For example, in the SSC exam preparation, students memorized several essays to find one familiar to the exam. But as I told you, I didn't have time for that. So, I read only one (After trying my best). And that I found in our question paper. Even I was surprised to see my luck.

Now a day, I have started my student life again. And I found myself in the same position. I am feeling difficulty completing all assignments. I am trying hard. Rest Allah knows.
