Japan - Canada football (Soccer) match

Some people think, physical & verbal fighting is part of the game. Some believe these are arts to perform to defuse the against team bypassing the game law.

I disagree. I don't like fighting. The game should be full of skills and strengths, and sometimes luck too. But not fighting, cheating or acting. Yes, to make people earn more money when some players act to lose or anything else. In Cricket it might be called Betting.

One day I was watching Japan and Canada football (Soccer) match. I was surprised to see both teams are not hitting each other, they were playing hard to win! The game was so nice to see. This is called a game, not a fighting ring or money gambling machine.

Japanese audiences are well known for cleaning up the gallery after the game and Canadians are well known for their nice behavior. No doubt their football games are the cleanest and most well-behaved.

Not a single person was playing Cricket!

When our Cricket Team got test status, I have seen everywhere in Bangladesh both kids and adults are playing cricket. They might not have bat, ball or wicket... but whatever they had (a wooden stick, tennis ball, plastic stick etc) they use to play cricket with that.

Few days back I went to Meradia (Dhaka, Bangladesh) to see Kash flower. There I found a wide open area where people (especially young boys) are playing. And not a single person was playing cricket. All were playing football!

What are you doing Bangladesh Cricket Team? Why people are becoming fed up with you guys? Bangladesh Cricket Board should take good care and right decision with them...

Why Bangladeshi people support Brazil football team?

First, I must ensure you that I am not a Brazil supporter. I really don’t understand why so many Bangladeshi people support Brazil football team. There is no relation with Brazilian football with Bangladesh. Then what could be the reason?

I have asked this question to my cousin brother. He supports Brazil. I asked him, why do you support Brazil? What makes you like them so much?

He replied, in our school text book there was (I don’t whether it is there or not now) an article on Pele, the magician of football. So, from childhood people start liking Brazil football.

Now, if you ask me why don’t I like Brazil? Answer is I hate Brazil supporter’s attitude. Because of their activity, somehow anti-brazil feeling created in me…

Anyway I didn’t have problem for putting sticker of Brazil flag on my son’s hand, because he got it free from a chocolate. J

My son’s theory on Cricket balls and football

Here Shafeen used a train as a bat and football as a cricket ball. He was 2 years and 8 months old.

Everyone has their own theory on games, my son had too. He believes cricket ball should be bigger like football. Because we had to hit it with bat, so it had to be bigger that a batsman can easily aim and hit. Football plays with legs so can be easily played with small balls.
