Japan - Canada football (Soccer) match

Some people think, physical & verbal fighting is part of the game. Some believe these are arts to perform to defuse the against team bypassing the game law.

I disagree. I don't like fighting. The game should be full of skills and strengths, and sometimes luck too. But not fighting, cheating or acting. Yes, to make people earn more money when some players act to lose or anything else. In Cricket it might be called Betting.

One day I was watching Japan and Canada football (Soccer) match. I was surprised to see both teams are not hitting each other, they were playing hard to win! The game was so nice to see. This is called a game, not a fighting ring or money gambling machine.

Japanese audiences are well known for cleaning up the gallery after the game and Canadians are well known for their nice behavior. No doubt their football games are the cleanest and most well-behaved.

Biography 86: Sports

I was never a good athlete. But I liked to play. I use to run a lot, but my speed wasn't good enough to win any competition. In our primary (Elementary) school, they always arrange annual sports competitions. I had tried the marble-spoon game in the competition. In this game kids needed to carry a marble on a spoon and the spoon can be held only by mouth. But I never practiced at home so didn't know, how fast actually I can go with it. In the beginning, I was out because of running too slow. I couldn't have any courage to try to win any physical game after that.

In grade 5 I was in a new school. I wanted to try skipping rope. But I didn't have enough height to join. Next year I tried to join that event again, this time I couldn't get selected because my height was too much. I never try to join in any competition in the annual sports again in school or anywhere.

In our local area, people always play badminton in the winter. Our parents also bought us a racket set. I have learned how to play. Still doesn't know the game rule 100%. But I played and I'm sure I was not good enough to play with the experts. In our area every winter they arranged a competition on Badminton. I never went to see that event. But from home I could hear them because of the loud mic.

At work one day we went to Brac Center for a picnic. I had to try to play cricket. Because they were one man short and accidentally I had made the highest score in batting.

Now I became too heavy to think about any physical game. Watching cricket on TV works for me.

Biography 75: Ringa Ringa Rosie

I was new in Bangladesh. I didn't know what Bangladeshi girls uses to play. I tried to play with them in school. Couldn't do well. For a change, I have created a new game. In Saudi Arabia, I knew we uses to sing this song in Madrasa and make a circle. Then we walk around by holding each other's hands and at the end of the song we sit. So, I have started this song as a poem and made this rule that when we sit, whoever sits at the end, that person will be out. So this way our ring will become smaller and at the end, we will find our winner. Soon this new game became very popular. I have seen girls from other classes are also playing it. I felt good, I have created this ;)

On those days I didn't know the lyrics, so whatever I remember I put them together. Today I found the real one ( I guess) and sharing it with you.

 Ring-a-ring-a-roses

A pocket full of posies

A tissue, a tissue

We all fall down

The king has sent his daughter

To fetch a pail of water

A tissue, a tissue

We all fall down

The robin on the steeple

Is singing to the people

A tissue, a tissue

We all fall down

The wedding bells are ringing

The boys and girls are singing

A tissue, a tissue

We all fall down

Why we kill people in computer games?

Here Shafeen was 2 years and 11 months old.

Now a day computer game is a big part of a child life. They play every day,

buy whenever they have money and what our kids are learning with these

games? Killing as a military man, became bad boy and kill people, how to

take other’s land, how to plan and win in a war, what kind of killing guns are

available in the world, how to fight, how to kill. Is that what we want to

teach with game? Surly not, then why are these? Are those only to have fun

by killing?
