Biography 231: Chat

 When the first internet and chatting system was introduced, very few people started using it. These people were mostly software engineers, web developers, designers, or highly educated and responsible persons. In those days, we could chat and meet new people very easily. We shared our positions, discussed official problems, gave solutions to others, helped others get jobs, etc.

Some of those unknown chat people later did business with me, I visited some homes in Eid, and some helped me get a job or submit a resume. It was totally different this time.

Yes, I am that old.

খাবার খাওয়ার সময় (While taking food)

দুদিন ইন্টারনেট ব্যবহার থেকে দুরে ছিলাম। ভেবেছিলাম, না জানি কত কাজ করার সময় বের হবে। প্রতিদিন নেট এ কত সময় ব্যয় হয়। অথচ বাস্তব দেখলাম সম্পুর্ন ভিন্ন। আমি আলাদা কোনো সময় বের করতে পারিনি। আসলে আমি নেট এ বসি তখনি, যখন কিছু খাওয়া দাওয়া করি।  ফলে নেটের জন্য আলাদা কোনো সময় ব্যয় হয়না। তবে এটা ঠিক, এই সুযোগে কিছুটা সময় পেয়েছি টিভি দেখার, মানে খাওয়ার সময় টিভি দেখতে পেরেছি :)

For two days I stayed out from internet. I thought by this time, I will manage lots of time to complete my to do list. But really showed me totally different scenario. I couldn't make any extra time. The truth is, I only come online when I take any food (breakfast, snack's, lunch, dinner, tea etc). So, I don't expend extra time on net. Anyway, during these two days I could manage time to see some TV shows... while taking food :)
