Tea bags

Trying to buy everything made in Canada and also affordable. You know how difficult it is to shop with both of these criteria at the same time.

I was searching for tea bags and found Black Tea from the No Name brand. I doubted its taste, but since it was made in Canada and was the cheapest option, I decided to buy it.

I didn't have any high expectations for these tea bags. As long as I can drink it, I'm fine with it. Without sugar, tea isn't tasty to me.

I made my tea with these new tea bags. It tastes strong and gives the water less colour. I can handle it. It's not bad.

Coffee

Whenever I buy anything, I try to get the cheapest option. This includes coffee as well. I bought the coffee with the lowest price, and I can't tell any difference from other brands. My taste buds aren't bad; I think I just don't have specific coffee taste buds. To me, all coffees taste the same.

The government should always have control over food prices.

When you let the greedy corporations increase food prices, those corporations will earn 2/3 times more profit each year. What will be the impact on the rest of the country? It will collapse.

People's earnings are very limited. They had to buy food to survive, no matter how much it cost. So, they won't invest money on clothes, furniture, travel, restaurants, or any other issue, no matter how much they need to have those. So, these companies will go bankrupt. The country won't get enough tax money from the organizations.

The big corporations making billions of profit have big lawyers to find loopholes to give tax. The general people, who earn very little, give taxes. The government can't ignore these people.

So, finally, the government will collapse.

That's why the government should always have control over food prices. There is no place to show greediness on essential items of life.

House price in Canada, should be regulated

In Canada, overall all houses are the same. The building materials, inner decoration, floor, even the colour. But the price varies according to its location, size and time. Except for size, none other materials should give a huge difference in pricing. If you look at the house building cost and its decoration, the houses are unnecessarily costly.

The house price increased too much, now general people can never buy a house. So, what they do is take a mortgage and pay the rest of their life for their house. They can't take a rest or even feel down, they have to go and earn money to pay the monthly payment. After death, someone else will carry on, who they will nominate.

Actually, who is getting benefited over here? The bank or organization/broker who gave the mortgage and the company whose duty is to find a house. These middle persons didn't build the house, they are not buying too. But they are benefited and pulling all strings to increase the price.

Here, mostly the immigrants are the sufferer. Among them,  the Asian's are the ones who helped to create this situation and suffering lifetime money problem. Because of culture, Asian people's life target is to get their own homes and own cars. After immigration, they work heart and soul to earn money to buy a house. But the amount they earn, it will take longer, in some cases can never buy a house. Because the price is made that high. So, they have no other choice but to take a mortgage. Now for the rest of their life, they will keep paying the organization, and the organizations are getting rich to richer. The poor immigrant is happy that they can start living in a house (In Canada, because in most cases they had a house in their own country), which is on the mortgage but will someday they will own it or their future generation will get it.

We should stop this life-killing process. Price should go up too much this way. There should be a regulation to control the pricing of houses/condos or any other thing.

Tomato price increased tk100 per kg in Ramadan

Iftar from my elder sister Sharmin Shafiuddin

To save money I usually buy only those, which is needed, especially in Ramadan. We all know, in Bangladesh, Ramadan means high price in everything. When people have no choice but spend extra money unnecessarily. Really don’t know when we will be able to remove this attitude from our business man.

Today I went to nearby shops to buy some general things. I found potato is now tk18 (per kg), tomato tk140 (per kg). Potato price reduce tk2 and in tomato increased tk 100 than the previous few weeks. What a change. Was it too necessary?
