Biography 216: My mother bought that ring

 My mother likes rings among all ornaments. I like rings, too, because they are less expensive, easy to carry, and easy to wear and take off.

On my birthday, Mom brought a ring. It was a little big, golden-coloured ring that looked like a gold ring. After my birthday, I wore it to the office. Shampa first noticed my ring, and she assumed I had gotten engaged. I didn't say anything; I just smiled. She couldn't keep her happiness inside herself, so she spread it to the whole office.

Many colleagues came to say congratulations. First I didn't get chance to explain, later I thought let them think like that. I am not getting married anyway. So, what's the difference. I can tell them after a couple of days. Let's just enjoy the fun right now.

Some male colleagues met with me personally and congratulated me. I felt maybe they had more feelings than a colleague to me. That made me think perhaps I shouldn't tell anyone about their misunderstanding. Let's better let them believe that I am engaged. This will be easy for me to handle the situation.

One day, Shampa had a doubt about my reaction. Because I was not telling anything about my fiance, I only brought my ring. I confirmed with her later that she was right.

আংটি (The ring)

গহনার মধ্যে আমার সবচেয়ে প্রিয় হলো আংটি। মার্কেটে বা কোথাও বেড়াতে গেলেও আংটি দেখলেই দাড়িয়ে যাই। দেখি নতুন ধরণের সুন্দর কোন আংটি আছে কিনা। নতুন জায়গায় যখন বেড়াতে যাই, সেখানকার কোন একটা আংটি কিনে আনার চেষ্টা করি। আগে কেউ কোথাও বেড়াতে গেলে বলে দিতাম, আমার জন্য রিসায়জেবল একটা আংটি এনো। 

মাঝারি আকারের একটা গহনার বক্স আছে। যেটাতে নানা ধরনের আংটি রেখেছি। বেশির ভাগই ফুটপাথ থেকে কেনা। বেশ কিছুদিন আগে গোলাপি পাথর বসানো ২টা আংটি কিনেছিলাম, রাইফেল স্কয়ার থেকে। কিন্তু গোলাপি রংয়ের জামা ছিলনা বলে পরতে পারিনি। আজ পরেছি। খুব ভাল লাগছে। এমনিতেও হার্ট সেপ যে কোন জিনিস ভালো লাগে। আর আংটি হলেতো কথাই নেই :)

Among all ornaments I like Ring mostly. Whenever I pass any ornament shop, secretly I look at their ring collections to know is there anything new? Whenever I go to any place to travel, I always try to buy a ring from there. When any of my sisters go out to any country, I always told them to bring me a re sizable ring for me.

I have a medium size ornament box only for rings. Most of them bought from rood side shop. Few days ago bought 2 rings from Rifle square.  But I didn’t have any pink dress so couldn’t try them. Today I have worn those and looking beautiful. Actually I like anything in heart shape :)

Shafeen’s ring

After birth, Shafeen got his first gold ring from his cousin brother Tameem. He also got another ring from his grandmother (paternal). When this picture was taken, he (Shafeen) was just three months and one day old.

Big ring

I like rings. Today in the market i found a salesman standing with some rings in front the market. I saw i don’t have those kinds of rings which he was holding. I choose one, which is little bigger size. Generally i don’t wear such big size ring. Let’s see how it suits with me. I took the ring and look at my friend. He understood my sign, and pays the bill :)
