Biography 254: All benefits should go automatically to the needed person

 In Bangla, a proverb says, "Even a mother doesn't give food if the child doesn't cry." I feel that this proverb is true in Canada. You may have laws, rights and many benefits. But you won't get anything if you don't know about it; apply, fight, and if rejected again, fight. Life is always tough. I felt that in Canada, it's unnecessarily tough.

If a person is a fraud, that person will do anything to make it look right. So, when the government has information that this person requires this benefit, I believe the government should give it to the person before asking. If you want to be sure, you can ask if they want it or not.

But keep every service hidden, and only those who know can ask for it, and only those who have enough energy to keep asking for it, will receive it. It is not a good government service or benefit at all.

Real Canada?

 People say Canada isn't as lovely as they pretend. They show the world they are nice, so people will come to their land and work for them. They need workers.

This is maybe somewhat true. However, we need to see the whole scenario, not just one page. People can stay in Canada and become Canadian. Then they can vote for or select the prime minister of Canada. This is a big thing to share.

There are many countries where you can live for as many years as you can work. After that, no matter how many generations you are living there, they will kick you out. Forget about voting or any other rights.

Biography 163: Benefit's for the University of Dhaka

A student will get some benefits as a student of the University of Dhaka. Most students don't know about it. At least I learned about some of them after a long time and never took any.

There is a free clinic and medicine for students. For mental support in TSC, students can take counselling from a psychologist. There are many students scholarship available. Some are based on halls (dormitories for the students), students have swimming pools, etc.

How TTC can be benefited from the Subway stations

In Toronto, at the subway stations, many people pass from one place to another every hour. They are of different ages, genders, and different economic conditions. We can build small shops beside the long platform. That will bring money to TTC, and people will be happy, especially women, to buy their necessary staff and groceries and eat good food while watching platform trains moving. More people will be interested in taking the Subway for transit. It will be good for security too, as there will always be some salesman at the station. We will have a well-maintained washroom at every station.

Extra benefit

 People do business for profit. So, when they recruited people, their intention is to pay as little as possible and make them work more. To make employers happy many employees do extra work. Sometimes that works for them, sometimes not.

If any employer does anything extra, I mean to give any extra benefit which employee didn't expect or in competition, other employers don't give that benefit, can make a big change in the workplace. I won't say then every employee will do better. But some will. Moreover, most of the employees won't think to leave that company because of that extra benefit.

For example, I know a company that provided lunch in the office. When that company was in a bad situation, it couldn't pay wages on time, but continued the lunch system. I was really surprised to see that employees stayed without getting enough wages. They knew it is pending and someday the company will pay all and they kept working. They were happy with the lunch system, didn't want to miss it.

Government support

 Each country has a different policy to help the general people. Even each province or state has different policies too. Now the question is, how much these policies are available to the people.

Or we can ask, how many people actually know about these policies? The way they are published now, it seems, the government doesn't want you to know about these benefits. If anyhow you get to know about it, then you will be able to apply for it.

I think, government websites should have help or benefit sections, where these benefits will be mentioned clearly in categories. So, that whenever feel that you are in trouble, you can visit that page and find the right help for you.

I keep quiet

People get extra benefit in front of me and I do nothing, just watch it. Even when I was standing at the same place but could not say anything. Where I should remind them that I should have this benefit too. Because I was at the same condition as the person is getting extra benefit. But I couldn’t.

I don’t want anything by force. I believe if things meant for me, it will come to me, whether I try or not. And, I don’t feel good after any fight, so I avoid it always. I know, fighting for your own right is necessary for some condition. But I really don’t like any kind of fight, it hurts me so much that I better let things go. Later your Karma will catch you, I don’t have to do anything.
