টিভিতে একটু খানি (On screen from some moment)

এমন লোক খুব কমই আছেন যারা নিজেকে টিভিতে দেখতে পছন্দ করবেননা। আমরা তো আমাদের ছায়াও টিভিতে দেখাবার কথা থাকলে সবাইকে নিয়ে টিভির সামনে বসে থাকি। যেমন কেউ কোনো জনসভায় গেছে, এমন সময় টিভি ক্যামেরা তার দিকে ফিরলো। সে তাড়াতাড়ি তার সবগুলো দাত বের করে হাত নাড়বে। তার বিস্বাস এতো মানুষের মধ্যে তার হাত দেখবে দেশবাসি। কোটি কোটি মানুষ দেখবে, এক সেকেন্ডর 100 ভাগের একভাগ সময়ের মধ্যে। সোজা কথা! 

আমার নিজের কথা বলি। শিশু একাডেমির ছাত্রী হবার কারণে কোনো বিশিস্ট ব্যাক্তিকে স্বাগত জানাতে এয়ার পোর্ট গিয়েছি। যখন খবরে ঐ ব্যাক্তিকে দেখাচ্ছিলো, আমরা সবাই তার ঘাড়ের পিছন দিয়ে দেখার চেষ্টা করছিলাম, আমার হাত, পা বা চুলের একটা অংশও যদি দেখা যায়। বেশ কয়েকবার দেখাও গিয়েছিলো... কয়েক পলকের জন্য।

There are few rare people who don’t want to show themselves on TV. We stay in front of the TV set, if we knew our shadow might be seen on the screen. Let me give an example, someone went to a gathering. At that moment a TV camera focuses on them. That person will show his all teeth immediately, and will waive his hand. They believe among all the people their hand will be shown on the TV and cores of people will watch it. It's not easy that cores of people will see them for a 1/100 second. 

Now let’s tell you about me. When I was a student of Bangladesh Shishu Academy, we had to go to the airport to welcome a well known person. Later on the TV news, when that person was showing we are all trying to look behind him to see me, in the hope that at least my hand, leg or some part of hair might be shown. Well I was seen from few moments :)
