Your surroundings

Every person is different than others. When we choose people to be with, we have different reasons for doing so. I have seen some people notice the powerful person in the room and then sit or stand beside them. Another group chooses who their friend is; some choose who has more money; some choose who is in their family; some choose who is more beneficial or more beautiful.

What do I choose? I tried to figure out who likes me more. At least some kind of likeness, or less hateness. It's difficult. Most of the time, I am surrounded by people who don't want me. And I am living in this situation always.

Sometimes I clearly understand people around me just want to get rid of me. Well, what I can do, I don't have any other options. If I had, I wouldn't bother any person in this world. Trust me.

Biography 320: Invitations

From my childhood, I have always seen my parents invite a group of people to celebrate Eid, birthdays, and other occasions. But I didn't visit that much. I mean, we didn't get invited that much. Sometimes my parents would only go to visit some people's homes because the invitation was only for them. I am trying to remember what I was first invited to go to somebody's home.

Probably to my oldest aunt's house. My uncle was famous for his invitations to home-cooked meals. I heard people used to suggest he not do this too much. But I guess he didn't listen to anyone. He liked food and liked to enjoy it with people.

I have started inviting people on my son's birthday and Eid. It was limited to my family. Sometimes I used to invite my friends or colleagues for my engagement, birthdays, and other occasions. Then I realized I wasn't getting invited by them as much. So I made it more limited. I found people aren't interested in joining me anywhere. Some people told me that I don't realize they don't want to spend time with me, but with themselves. So I had to learn to travel, enjoy food, and be with my family only. I shouldn't bother people if they don't like me.

Transparency

We all know that successful group work depends on good communication. I will say there is one thing more important than communication: transparency. Be transparent. When you do something or make a decision, inform your group why and what you have decided before asking for input. Describe your actions clearly without leaving questions. Keep your group updated on your work status. This transparency builds trust among group members, and everyone will understand the progress of the group work. So, when a group leader makes a decision, other members will understand the task easily, leaving little room for misunderstanding.

It is also a great tool to maintain a healthy relationship, too. When your family member knows where you have been and why, before they ask any questions, there is no room for not trusting each other. Moreover, if you fall into any trouble, your family members will know where they can find you and send help.

Group travel vs traveling alone

I believe everything has a positive side. For example, you may like to see new places on this Earth. So, you travel. And you know very well that because of your travel partner, your travel experience may differ.
You may travel with different groups. Then you will find, travel experience with each group is different.
When you travel any place with a group, even in an unattractive place, you will find it funny only because you are with a bunch of people. If you are traveling alone, then the place must have something to make you happy.
Again, if you are traveling in a group, you must adjust with everything with the group. In some cases, for a very small reason you my get hurt or someone may get hurt because of you. If you are traveling alone, you don’t have to worry about anything. But sometimes you may feel lonely.
Any group work means you must face more trouble and will have more fun. Alone work means less trouble, less fun.
Now choice is yours. It depends on how much you can adjust with others to have fun 😉
