Learn to accept failure

 Train yourself to accept failures, rejections, and accept NO in any part of life. When you become used to winning and achieving everything, it will be very hard for you if you're denied something simple. 

Some people don't ask for help or anything from anyone because they know they can't handle hearing NO. It hurts them so much that they've decided to live independently without asking anyone for anything. 

Have faith in Allah; whatever happens, accept it and move on. Learn to accept failure.

Biography 253: Moving from one place to another

 Occasionally, people need to move their homes. I never did in Bangladesh because I always lived with my parents.

The first time I moved from one home to another was in Canada. I faced the problem of Canadians not having good moving companies with reasonable prices. If you have money, you can hire a company to pack, move, and unpack. However, it's very costly, and most people can't afford that luxury.

Now, services for the general public in Canada are mixed with fraudulent people. If you hire any company hourly, they will try to delay as much as possible and ask for as much as they want. If you move from one province to another. May Allah help you. It is challenging to find any company that will agree to do so. They won't come to take your goods on a fixed date as they agreed, they won't follow the date as they promise to deliver. But families have fixed dates to leave and live in another house. After the transportation, you may miss some items or get some extra (Someone else missed those). Some items may broken. Nobody I knew could get money from the transport company for this extra date, times, and missing or broken items.

I wish some good company would come to this business and make it better.

As long as you are moving.

Whichever works for you as long as you are moving.

I heard somewhere if you can't run, walk. But keep moving. We face much trouble in our life. It's not a shame that we fall, or get hurt. But as long as you get up and keep moving, it's ok.

Just don't let anything stop you. Life is more beautiful than you can ever imagine. Keep moving. Help others; if you can't, at least give them a smile. Even that can make someone's time better.

Let them go

 We shouldn't hold someone who doesn't want to stay with us. We should let them go because we love and care for them and respect and honour their decision. It's not necessary that we have to agree with them. We just have to let them go. Let them be happy or taste their own decision. We have to find our own happiness without them.

Really? How many times you have seen this winning?

I have seen so many times, people fall in love, willing to do anything for their lovers. But in the end, they get refused. Their feelings were very true (I think), they just choose the wrong person to fall in.

 

When people near me did this. In the beginning, I had tried to warn them, that they should know, to what kind of person they are getting close. If they could stop, it would have been better for them. But even by knowing everything, they fall for it. On those days I didn’t know, why on earth they are even trying for that kind of people.

 

But with time, I realize, they did because they couldn’t stop themselves. Because of love, they always had hope, people will change, and fall for real with them. And that never happens, so, in the end, get hurt.

 

Later these broken heart people move on. They start their new life. But I felt the spark is missing. It looks like they are living with furniture. I hope, I’m wrong.

 

Almost all of them, who play with heart, didn’t get anything good (As far as I have seen). Karma is very true. No matter how they appear in society, deep inside they are living the worst life.

আমার আর নড়ার উপায় ছিল না (I couldn't move)

আমাদের বাসায়, আমি বাদে, বাকি 4 ভাই বোনের সবার মধ্যেই  ভয়াবহ তেলাপোকা ভীতি আছে। তেলাপোকা উড়ে আসলে, সব চিৎকার করে ছুটে পালায়।

তখন হয়তো কলেজে পড়ি। আমরা 3 বোন একসাথে দাদার বিশাল খাটে ঘুমাতাম। একদিন মশারী টানিয়ে শুয়েছি , হয়তো চোখটা মাত্র লেগেছে (তখন শীতকাল চলছিল), সোনিয়াও শুয়ে পড়েছিল, শেখা মাত্র ঢুকেছে মশারীর ভিতর। এমন সময় শেখা হঠাৎ দেখল মশারীর ভিতর তেলাপোকা। ওমনি মেজপা!! (আমাকে এই নামেই) বলে চিৎকার করে একলাফে আমার লেপের উপর, লেপের নিচে ছিলাম আমি। সোনিয়া চিৎকার শুনে সেও আরেক লাফে আমার লেপের  উপর উঠে গেল। তারপর শুরু করল 2 জনে মিলে চিৎকার, "মেজপা মেজপা, তেলাপোকা, মারো, মেজপা মেজপা"। এদিকে আমি তো নড়তে পারছিনা। লেপের ভিতর থেকে বলছি, "আগে তো সড়ো আমার উপর থেকে, আমি তো বের হতেপারছিনা"। কে শোনে কার কথা....2/3 মিনিট পর ওদের কিছুটা হুস হলো, আমার উপর থেকে সরে, এক দৌড়ে মশারি থেকে বের হয়ে গেল। আর আমি উঠে বসে নিশ্বাস নিলাম....

[১৭ ই জুন, ২০০৬]

AT home, except me, my other 4 bro and sisters afraid of cockroaches. If they found one cockroach is flying, then will scream and run away...

On those days I was in college. We 3 sisters use to sleep together on our old styled big bed (got it from our grandfather). One day I setup the mosquito net and fall in sleep with my blanket (winter was going on). Sonia (my younger sister) also fall in sleep. On that moment, my youngest sister Shekha saw a cockroach. Immediately she screamed very loudly, "Mejopa (they called me with this name, means 2nd sister)!" and jump on my blanket (I was sleeping below). Sonia heard that shout, she also gave another jump and came on my blanket. Then both started screaming, "Mejopa, mejopa, cockroach, kill it, mejopa mejopa!".

Here you can understand my position, I can't move because of them. I was saying, "First get up from my body, I can't come out". But they are not in a position to listen to me. After 2/3 minutes they calm down a bit and give a quick run from me to go out from the mosquito net. Finally I could sit down and took a long breath...

New place for better life...

Everyone wants a better place to live. Some give emphasis on where they can live with their relatives, some on better life style, some on better weather, some on better income, better food... all wants something better. Some don't care where they are. They just expend their life wherever they born. Some wish to have better life, but couldn't find a path to go out.

No matter what issues we have, we want something better. Some people wishes for better life, but actually they don't do anything, or anything strongly. Only wishing isn't a solution. We have to act hard. Though we don't know whether we are taking the right choice or not.

Many people go abroad, or go to town to change their luck. But many of them lost all and had to come back to the previous place. And they found, actually they had some opportunity at previous place, outside world is more difficult live.

Some don't care, where they came, they just stick there and do hard work to change their life. And they truth is, these are the successful people. Who can fix their luck.
