An AVX movie

Watched an AVX movie. It means enhanced visuals and sound with larger screens, 4K digital projection, and powerful surround sound (often Dolby Atmos).

For me, they didn't add any extra screen; they just used both side white (almost white) walls from the projector screen. So, when you are looking at the front, you can also see a bit more from the side walls.

It's a very new experience for me. It's a good one. But I won't pay more for this view. I didn't feel it was needed for the movie.

I also experienced the same feeling.

When movies are so dim, you can’t actually see anything

I felt like this about some recent movies. Especially if the movie is about magic, history or imagination, it shows everything so dark that most of the time, I can see nothing.

When they feel bore

Now a day, it is tough to make my son agree that he was wrong. He thinks he knows better than his mom. He knows how to argue and try to win.

But I know I have to keep trying.

I told him that he never got bored when you were a kid. No matter where I took you, you could spend your time in your own way, like looking for something interesting, finding something to play with, etc.

But now a day, your only time spending way is on screen. So, if I take you anywhere, you don't see anything; you just feel bored and wait when will you get the screen (Cell phone, Tab, or laptop) again.

He was taking breakfast, which was not a good time to talk with him. But he made me surprised and kind of node his head to agree. I told him to try to bring back that capability again.

My screen times

I have decided not to touch the phone or any screen (Computer or TV) from 8pm to 5.30am. But it is now 2.57am and I’m writing. I hope I will gradually be able to maintain my screen time.

Digital era or screen era

We can say we have started a generation of screen. Now a day, people spend most of the time looking at the screen. It could be TV, Cell Phone, Laptop, Tablet etc. My son has many toys, but he spends most of the time in front of any screen. That’s his favorite time pass element. Sometimes he watches cartoon on TV or desktop computer, sometimes play TV game, or games on desktop PC, Tablet or cell phone. He wants to play game on internet very much (mom don’t let him do that).

I have noticed many of his school friends plays with tablet or cell phone at home.

They don’t know how to read but how to operate cell phone. How to download games, install and play with it.

They are the generation of screens…

Go near the TV screen

Shafeen was 2 years and 1 month old.

When you are responsible to raise a child, you have to concentrate on every little detail which is related to him, like what can be harmful for them, what can give them better health etc. My son likes to watch TV, the only thing he likes to see over there in cartoon. When he gets very exited on cartoon’s story, he couldn't stop himself to go near the TV screen, no matter how many times you ask them not to do so, it may harmful for your eyes.
