I deserve this.

 I need a chef who will cook me 3 times healthy, fresh meals. I need a house cleaner to clean my house daily and do the laundry. I need a personal spa person. This person will take care of me, from exercising/massage to shaving,  cleaning/facials/hair to taking make-up. I need a manager to manage all my communications, arrange my travels, and drive.

In the end, I need a two-bedroom tiny house with an internal pool or jacuzzi. A garage within the house (Not open or detached) and the entire house will be under central AC and heater. I also need a car that can run on both gas and electricity.

I need a job so that I can afford everything without any stress. Finally, I need good friends who can talk with me, be with me, travel with me, help me whenever I need it, stay with me in the hospital, etc.

I need a safe place to live and work with a good climate.

I only need this much to survive. I am not asking too much. I deserve this.

পেট্রল দিলেই আমার গাড়ি চলবে (My car will run if I just put some petrol in it)

শাফিনের (আমার ৬ বছরের ছেলে) একটা বড় গাড়ির খুব সখ। যেখানে ও নিজে বসে চালাতে পারবে। পা দিয়ে ধাক্কা দিয়ে বা প্যাডেল ঘুরিয়ে চালাতে হবেনা। ওর খেলনা গাড়ি অনেক আছে, কিন্তু ও বসে চালাতে পারে এমনটা নেই। ওর সবচেয়ে বড় লাল গাড়িতে বসে পা দিয়ে ধাক্কা দিয়ে বা ঠেলে ঠেলে চালাতে হয়। 

শাফিন দেখেছে, বড় বড় খেলনার দোকানে এক ধরনের গাড়ি পাওয়া যায় যা ব্যাটারিতে চলে. এসবে বসে বাচ্চারা নিজেই ঘরের ভিতরে গাড়ি চালাতে পারে। আমাকে অনুরোধ করেছে কিনে দেয়ার জন্য। আমি যথাসম্ভব ওর সব কথাই রাখার চেষ্টা করি। কিন্তু এ বিষয়ে এখনও সাধ আর সাধ্যের মিল করতে পারিনি।

একদিন আমার কাছে এসে বলল, "আম্মু আমাকে কিছু পেট্রল কিনে দিও"

আমি বললাম, "পেট্রল দিয়ে তুমি কি করবে?"

শাফিন, "আমি আমার গাড়িতে (যেটা পা দিয়ে ঠেলে চালাতে হয়) ভরে চালাবো। পেট্রল দিলে আর পা দিয়ে ঠেলা দিতে হবে না."

Shafeen (My 6 year old son) wants a big car for years. Where he can sit and run it. And he won't need to push it by his leg. Now he has many toys of cars, but none of is like that where he can sit and drive. His biggest toy is one red car where he can sit and then he had to drive it by pushing his leg on the ground.

Shafeen has seen in big toy stores, they are many big cars where kids can sit and drive (Need battery). He requested me to buy one for him. Generally I try to keep his entire request... but here still I couldn't manage enough money for it.

One day He came to me and asked me to buy some petrol for him. I surprise and asked, "Why?" He replied, he will put some petrol inside his red car then the car will run itself (He won't need to push it)...

I wish I could get everything that I wish for

When I was a kid (even now), whatever beautiful things I saw, wish to have them… But I knew, our parent won’t afford all or any. So, mostly I didn’t ask anyone to give me those. Even now I don’t ask anyone to give me anything (if by mistake I did, nobody gives any). All can’t be wrong with me, maybe I have some personality problem that when I ask for anything, nobody feels to give that (no matter how cheap or easy things to give).

My son doesn’t think much about these. Whatever he likes he asks me to give him that. As I already faced this cruel world, I don’t say NO to him.  I always say “Yes/OK”, but can’t give on that spot. Later whenever I can I try to give him that. And when he gets it he understands that his mom is very sincere about this matter.

Let me give an example. Once in the shopping mall he saw a Christmas tree and asks me to give those colorful balls which are used for decoration with the tree. Later from Mina Bazaar (as far as I remember) I bought a set of those balls for him… he played with them as they were not that much strong, most of them are broken now. But I kept my promise.
