দায়িত্ব থেকে মুক্তি পেতে ... (To get rid of responsibility)

একটা কথা শুনেছিলাম, “দায়িত্বহীনের হাতে দায়িত্ব দেয়াও এক ধরনের দায়িত্বহীনতা”। কথাটা বিশ্বাস করি। তাই কাউকে কোনো কাজের দায়িত্ব দিলেও সব সময় সচেষ্ট থাকি, যে সে ঠিক মতোন কাজটা করেছে কিনা, নাকি ওভাবেই পড়ে আছে। কাউকে কাউকে পাই খুবই দায়িত্বশীল, যে কাজ দিব, সে সেটা তার সাধ্যমতোন ঠিক ভাবে করে দিবে, আবার কাউকে পাই যে কাজ নিয়ে একেবারেই মাথা ঘামায় না, কাজ শেষ হলো না কি পড়ে রইল এটা তার কাছে কোনো বিষয়ই না। কেউ কেউ এমন ভাবে করে যে আবার করতে হয়।

আসলে কাউকে কোন দায়িত্ব দেয়া মানে নিজেকে একটা টেনশনের মধ্যে ফেলা। তারপরও যখন কোন দায়িত্বদায়িত্ববান কারো হাতে কাজ দেই, বা কোন কারনে আর কেউ দায়িত্ব নিজেই নিয়ে নেয়, খুবই ভাল লাগে। শান্তিই শান্তি:)

I heard this, “Giving responsibility to an irresponsible person is kind of irresponsibility”. I believe this too. So, whenever I give any responsibility to anyone I try to keep an eye on them. Did they do the work well? Or just keep that on desk as it was. Sometimes I found people who are very responsible in their work. No matter what kind of work I give them, they do it well as much as they can. Some do their work in such way that I had to do it again.

This means whenever I give any work to other, I am bringing tension for me.  But still if I could give my work to a responsible person, or when any responsible person took my responsibility in their shoulder, brings peace my mind J
