Sokatore oi knaadichhe sakole,  shono shono pita.

Kaho kaane kaane, shunao praane praane  mongalobaarota.

Khudra aasha niye royechhe bnaachiye,  sadai bhaabona.

Ja-kichhu paay haaraye jaay,  naa maane saantona.

Sukh-aashe dishe dishe  beraay kaatore -

Morichika dhorite chaay  e morupraantore.

Phuraay bela, phuraay khela, sondhya hoye aase -

Knaade takhon aakul-mon,  knaape toraase.

Ki habe goti, bishwopoti,  shaanti kotha aachhe -

Tomare daao, aasha purao,  tumi eso kaachhe.

Dejected, all are crying bitterly,
